Join the SNACS Journalism & Social Media Communications Team!

Hey SNACS School Community!  Have you viewed our students in the SNACS Daily News? Is there other journalism and social media that you are interested in learning about and helping with?

Dr. Regan is launching the SNACS Journalism and Social Media Communications Team.  We are looking for student leaders to be SNACS Ambassadors interested in all aspects of journalism:

  • Social media
  • Public relations
  • Communications  

We will produce:

  • Daily student video news
  • SNACSbytes (mini 30 second videos featuring cool events highlighting SNACS events)
  • SNACS Small School Community Stories
  • New commercials
  • Monthly online student-driven newspapers
  • Daily social media posts
  • Website development, and other communications that highlight everything that we love at SNACS!

Interested in being in front of a camera or working behind the scenes? We will work with you to gain invaluable experience with the following:

  • Lighting
  • Print/video editing
  • Live presentations and testimony
  • Generating marketing and advertising materials, graphic arts, layout and design, editing, etc.


We are seeking student leaders in grades 4-8 who want to take the SNACS Community to the next level via journalism, social media, and communications.  All students will participate in various tasks based on interest and ability.

***Don’t have a lot of experience?  Don’t worry, we will teach you all you need to know!***  You need to come prepared and excited to work hard and shine with SNACS spirit!

We are holding our first SNACS Journalism & Social Media Communications Team meeting on Monday, March 18, 2019 with Dr. Regan and Mr. Baker at the Stead site at 3:30 pm and end approximately 4:30 pm. Check in at the front office and they direct you where to go.

At the first meeting will will go over SNACS Small School Community, school spirit and innovation,  expectations, opportunities, and all students will begin their script for their SNACS Small School Community Story.
