SNACS Seeking Inspired Voices to Speak in Nevada State Capitol

Hey SNACS parents and students! Do you share our vision for Personalized Learning through PLAY and choice? Have you seen positive results for child and/or family as a result of attending SNACS?  Do you think you should have the right to choose your child’s education?  Should all Nevada families have a fundamental right to choose their child’s education?

We would love to hear your SNACS Small School Story at the Nevada State Legislature! Students and parents constantly give examples of how our school have changed their lives. Whether you’re a parent or student who has been with us for years or a new member of the family we want to hear your story! Share your opinion on why there is true power in building a small school community devoted to personalized learning plans for each  child.

Students, this is your chance to represent the SNACS in front of the Legislature!

We will be taking one or more groups of students and families down to Carson City to share our story. Let us know at your earliest convenience if you are available.

There will be opportunities for public comment testimony before the Legislature on Tuesday, April 9th or Thursday, April 11th at 12:30 PM. Other dates and times will be established as SNACS-related bills arise.  So please let us know if you are interested!

We want to help you craft a compelling and riveting narrative on behalf of our school. Please contact us at 775-677-4500 to speak with our front office and/or email Dr. Kimberly Regan directly at kregan@snacs.org.

All families may participate even if you cannot attend in person!  Stories may also be submitted in writing to be included as part of the legislative record.  Share your story today!
