Welcome to Second Grade!!
Welcome to second grade!! I am so excited to be your teacher this year! We are going to have a fantastic year filled with learning and growing.
First, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated from UNR with my bachelor’s degree in psychology. After that, I received my K-8 teaching license from California State University, East Bay. This is my fourth year teaching and my second year at SNACS, and I absolutely love it! My fiancé, Craig, teaches 7th and 8th grade social studies at Shaw Middle School. We have a six year old cat named Marilyn, and a one year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Finn. Also, I love star wars!
I can’t say enough how excited I am for this school year! I love to keep open communication, so please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I will be using ClassDojo this year, and I will also ask for parent volunteers as needed. I look forward to an amazing year together!

***Also please remember that a backpack, initialed agenda, water bottle, and snacks should be brought to school every day. I will check agendas daily and give students rewards for having someone at home initial their agenda. This is also a great way for us to communicate. Thank you so much! ☺
