Student Classroom Supplies
The classroom has secured six months of classroom instructional materials. Families are asked to consider donating a non-instructional item.
Preliminary Conferences
Preliminary conferences are recommended for the following:
- Students new to SNACS.
- Students that are new to Mr. Mokski’s classroom.
- Any family that would like to address concerns or deficiencies in your student’s education.
The primary intent to hold in-person conferences. Students are encouraged. Families and siblings are welcome; the classroom should be toddler safe by the start of conferences. Conferences can be held over Zoom or phone, upon request. Not all families are requested to hold a conference at this time. Preliminary Conference sign-ups:
Access to Mr. Mokski
Mr. Mark Mokski is entering his third year at SNACS. The previous years at SNACS were spent teaching 2nd grade and Distance Learning 3-5. Mr. Mokski came to Reno from the Bay Area after 10 years working within Early and Primary Education. He currently hold a B.A. in English, CA and NV Teaching Credentials, and a M.B.A. in Organizational Leadership.

Morning Journal –
- Write your answer to the question on notebook paper, 1 paragraph minimum, before watching the video.
- Watch the video
- Write a paragraph reflection. What did you learning? What surprised you? What do you want to know about the topic.
Math –
- Complete the “Problem Set” pages (Look in the upper right hand corner to identify section name).
- Answers and instructions are included in the packet.
- Printing the select pages is encouraged, but not essential. Students can write the answers down on notebook paper.
- Complete the weekly math packet (a few pages per day).
- Complete homework packet (a few pages per day).
English –
- Complete the English Packet (2 pages per day)
- Daily progress towards the weekly writing assignment.
Reading –
- Complete, at least one AR book quiz.
- Complete, at least one AR article quiz.
- Reach out through ClassDojo or text, if you need codes.
