SNACS Preschool Grant Awarded for Free 3- and 4-year-old Program

SNACS Preschool was awarded the Early Childhood Expansion Grant to expand the current 4-year-old program and add a 3-year-old program. The program offers free care for qualifying three- and 4-year-old children Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to support young children in literacy on the pathway toward school readiness.

SNACS Preschool is a 4-star rated early childhood program on the Nevada Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS), based on national criteria designating high quality to support the whole child in school readiness.

The program will operate between January and the end of June. Children in the program have priority enrollment in the charter school for kindergarten. Space is limited, so contact the front office to reach Miss Pam or Miss Tiffany to learn more information at 775-677-4500.
