Mrs. LaGere’s K-2 Distance Learning Page
My name is Catha LaGere, and I will be your child’s teacher for K-2 Distance Learning! I look forward to meeting everyone, and I am excited for the 2020-2021 school year at SNACS! I have taught Kindergarten through 6th grades in the past and am looking forward to working with your child! I am married with two children. My daughter is in high school at AACT, and my son attends college at UNR. I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. In my free time, I enjoy downhill skiing, hiking, reading, listening to music, and spending time with my family.

Renaissance-AR (Accelerated Reader) This website will allow your child to take Early Literacy tests and STAR tests. An Early Literacy test or STAR test must be taken (once each quarter) before AR tests can be taken. It will also allow your child to take AR tests based on the books they have read. AR tests should be done at least weekly.
