Why Attendance Matters: A Message to Our Families
Dear SNACS Families,
We truly value the partnership we share with you, and we know that you want the very best for your child. One of the simplest yet most powerful ways to support your child’s success is by ensuring they attend school consistently and on time.
Every day in the classroom matters. When students are present, they engage in meaningful lessons, collaborate with classmates, build confidence, and strengthen important academic and social skills. Even one or two missed days a month can add up quickly and make it harder for students to stay on track.
We understand that challenges arise — illnesses, appointments, and unexpected events happen. When they do, please communicate with us and provide documentation when possible. We are here to support you, not judge. Our goal is always to work together in the best interest of your child.
We are providing a quick guide for you to better understand Chronic Absenteeism and how it can affect your child, the class, and the school. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or need additional support.
Thank you for making attendance a priority and for trusting us with your child each day. Together, we can ensure they are present, prepared, and positioned for success.
We want to see you and your child at SNACS every day!
With appreciation,
Dr. Regan
